2. Acceptable Use of the Service

- You may not misuse the Service or attempt to circumvent technical limitations.

Prohibited Uses
You expressly agree NOT to use the Service or certificates for:
- Fraudulent purposes: Creating false evidence, supporting fraudulent claims, or deceiving others
- Legal misrepresentation: Misrepresenting the legal status, admissibility, or probative value of certificates
- Unauthorized certification: Certifying private content without proper authorization
- Tampering: Modifying, altering, or corrupting certificates after generation
- Commercial resale: Unauthorized commercial distribution or resale of certificate services
- Impersonation: Using certificates to impersonate others or misrepresent identity
- Privacy violations: Violating third-party privacy rights or confidentiality
- Jurisdictional violations: Using certificates in jurisdictions where prohibited
3. Accounts
- You are responsible for activities under your account and for safeguarding your credentials.
- We may terminate or suspend accounts for violations of these Terms.
4. Digital Seals and Certificates
Digital Seal Issuer
All digital seals and electronic certificates generated through this Service are issued byASOCIACION POR LOS ENTORNOS DIGITALES SEGUROS as the trusted certification authority.
Certificates generated by the Service are intended to provide evidentiary value. While designed with EU frameworks in mind (including eIDAS principles for electronic records) and GDPR best practices, admissibility and probative value depend on the specific circumstances and the competent authority. You are responsible for assessing suitability for your use case.
Certificate Validity and Integrity
- Digital seals are cryptographically signed by ASOCIACION POR LOS ENTORNOS DIGITALES SEGUROS
- Certificates include cryptographic hashes and optional RFC3161 timestamps
- Certificate authenticity can be verified through our verification tools
- Users are responsible for maintaining certificate integrity after download
5. Privacy and Data Protection
We process personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law on Data Protection and Digital Rights Guarantee (LOPDGDD). Our data processing practices are detailed in our documentation and privacy notices.

Limitations for Application Misuse
- Fraudulent Use: We are not responsible for certificates used to misrepresent facts, create false evidence, or engage in fraudulent activities.
- Legal Misrepresentation: Users bear sole responsibility for ensuring accurate representation of certified content in legal proceedings.
- Improper Authentication: We are not liable for damages arising from reliance on certificates that have been tampered with, corrupted, or improperly verified.
- Unauthorized Distribution: We disclaim liability for unauthorized sharing or distribution of certificates by users.
- Jurisdictional Misuse: Users are responsible for compliance with local laws; we are not liable for use in jurisdictions where such certificates are prohibited or restricted.
- Third-Party Reliance: We are not responsible for third parties' reliance on certificates without proper verification procedures.
User Responsibilities
- Users must verify certificate authenticity before relying on or presenting certificates as evidence.
- Users are responsible for understanding the legal implications of certificate use in their jurisdiction.
- Users must not use certificates to deceive, defraud, or misrepresent information to any party.
- Users must secure their certificates against unauthorized access or modification.
Maximum Liability Cap
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ASOCIACION POR LOS ENTORNOS DIGITALES SEGUROS's total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service, regardless of the form of action, shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to liability.
